Fun with the Fundamentals of Parliamentary Procedure
At our first meeting of the year, Lori Meyer creatively taught us how to utilize parliamentary procedures. After a brief presentation, Lori invited the audience to utilize our knowledge to make trail mix. There were motions, discussions and votes. Surprisingly there was an objection to add M&Ms. Ask an IPMM member to find out why. Through the demonstration, the members of IPMM kept Lori on her toes. However, we did end up with a batch of IPMM trail mix.
Lori is a Personal Lines Underwriting Supervisor at Shelter Insurance. She is a former NAIW Region V Vice President. Lori learned parliamentary procedure at a young age and has maintained the passion for parliamentary procedure.
